Painting Helper

This is a picture I ran across of my cat, Cristal, helping me paint.  Her assistance was greatly appreciated as I sold this painting upon completion!

Right now I'm painting the bonnet lily, for which the Bonnet House in Fort Lauderdale was named.  The Bonnet House is a historical estate, built in the 30's by a family involved in the arts.  I love to paint there as everything inspires me ... the buildings are lovely, the light is fabulous, the orchids are amazing - AMAZING!  The light on the lilies was intense and the water was smooth and dark.  They just stood out and were reflected perfectly in the water.  My plan is to play up the reflections.  Wish me luck.
